Homi's Mnemonics: Getting the Most out of Them

Homi’s visual mnemonics can help you remember your lessons. However, it requires you to study with the mnemonics.

To get the most out of Homi’s mnemonics-based study, follow these steps.

Getting the most out of Homi's visual mnemonics
The Visual Mnemonic

1. The Visual Mnemonic

Each of your lessons has a visual mnemonic – a picture designed to help you remember that lesson. On top of this visual mnemonic, answer points will appear in black boxes like the one shown here. First, study the point.

You can see the visual mnemonic and an answer point on Raju’s laptop.

Repeat the point

2. Repeat the point

Now, repeat the point in your mind while looking at the mnemonic cue. This will build the point-to-cue relationship in your mind.

Each lesson point will have a cue associated with it. See how Pinki is repeating the point in her mind while looking at the cues on her computer.

Do it all in your mind

3. Do it all in your mind

Now, repeat all the points while thinking of the mnemonic in your mind. Say the points aloud if you like – that’s even better, as it engages your vocal cords as well as your hearing.

You can see, Rocky the dog, saying the points aloud without having to look at his computer.
