Today, we’re back with another list of what some professions are called in Spanish. Spanish vocabulary isn’t just a few thousand words. Did you know that the Spanish dictionary contains over 93,000 words?
Amazing, isn’t it?
But do you need to memorize all those words to speak Spanish? No! You need to start with some vocabulary that allows you to communicate in and navigate basic day-to-day conversations. Slowly and steadily, as you get more familiar with the language, you will build more vocabulary!
Let’s take a look at the next set of professions now:
El estudiante / La estudiante | Student |
El actor / La actriz | Actor / Actress |
El policía / La policía | Policeman / Policewoman |
El gerente / La gerente | Manager |
El científico / La científica | Scientist |
El vendedor / La vendedora | Salesman / Saleswoman |
Now, why don’t we do a quick quiz to see whether you can remember the correct profession and use it correctly based on gender! Why don’t you bring out a notepad and pen? This time, write the answers down! Make sure you only select the professions from the given list for this quiz.
Let’s check your answers now:
